2025 The Marathon Project Event to Stream Live December 20-21 Exclusively on FloTrack
AUSTIN, TX — (June 19, 2025) — FloSports today announced a dynamic new partnership with The Marathon Project – a premier racing event designed to showcase world-class marathon talent. The partnership will include the creation of original content and co-distribution of an original podcast in lead up to The Marathon Project’s headline event, which will be streamed live from Chandler, Arizona, December 20–21, exclusively on FloTrack.
The Marathon Project broadcast will feature an on-air team made up of top US marathoners to cover every mile of the anticipated event. Steve Sievert, a long-time running commentator, will handle play-by-play duties, and will be joined in the booth by 2021 Tokyo Olympic marathon bronze medalist Molly Seidel, and marathon standout Scott Fauble.
Seidel was a four-time NCAA Champion while at the University of Notre Dame and has finished in the top eight at World Marathon Majors events on three different occasions (London 2020 – 6th; NYC 2021 – 4th; Chicago 2023 – 8th). Fauble, a four-time All-American while at the University of Portland, has been one of the most consistent US Marathoners over the decade finishing in the Top-10 at both the New York City and Boston Marathons five times since 2018 and was ranked one of the top two U.S. Marathoners three out of four years between 2019 and 2023.
To build momentum to the December event, The Marathon Project will launch a podcast in September, that will air on FloTrack. It will feature interviews with top marathoners and rising elites, covering evolving storylines ahead of the event, plus insider analysis from some of distance running’s biggest names. Sievert will serve as the host with the first guests slated to appear on the podcast to include Fauble, 2020 Marathon Project champion Sara Hall, and the second-fastest Canadian of all-time, Rory Linkletter. More guests will be announced closer to launch.
In addition to the podcast, FloTrack will feature The Marathon Project competitors in its highly-popular workout video series. Throughout the series, top athletes will provide keen insights into their workout routines and preparation for race day. The partnership will also be supported by an extensive marketing and social media campaign across both FloTrack and The Marathon Project channels.
“The Marathon Project has carved out a unique place on the running calendar and we’re excited to be able to provide this type of event to our fans while bringing in new broadcast talent into the sport with Scott and Molly,” said Ryan Fenton, GM of FloTrack at FloSports. “The addition of the podcast into the mix makes this a super attractive offering for FloTrack subscribers.”
The Marathon Project co-founder and CEO, Ben Rosario, said that the FloSports partnership is part of the event’s overall commitment to a comprehensive fan experience.
“From our very first meeting, the FloSports team understood that we wanted to create a modern professional sports broadcast–delivered with personality, amplified by technology, and focused on competition,” Rosario said. “I have every confidence that marathons all over the world are going to thoroughly enjoy the show.”
In addition to The Marathon Project, FloTrack subscribers have access to a massive slate of global Track & Field, including Wanda Diamond League, Continental Tour Gold events, World Marathon Major events, and more, making the platform an essential destination for fans year-round.
