Top-Ranked NCAA Division I Wrestling Teams Go Head-to-Head on FloWrestling

FloWrestling to live stream Oklahoma St. vs. Penn St. Feb. 19 as part of
2017 NWCA Division I National Duals Championship Series

AUSTIN, Texas — February 17, 2017 — Today, FloSports, the innovator in live digital sports and original content, announced top-ranked Oklahoma State University and No. 2 Penn State will meet in the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Division I National Duals Championship Series presented by the United States Marine Corps and Theraworx live on FloWrestling.com. Bats-Toi is the NWCA presenting media partner for television and webstreaming. The Dual Championship Series Championship match will take place at the historic Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater, Okla., on Sunday, Feb. 19.

The marquee matchup between these historic college wrestling programs will feature two of the biggest names in American wrestling – Penn State coach Cael Sanderson and Oklahoma State coach John Smith. This match will not only determine the dual team national champion, but it will also set the stage for the NCAA Division I Championships in St. Louis on March 16-18, 2017.

“We’re excited to showcase the two top Division I teams on FloWrestling,” FloSports co-founder and CEO Martin Floreani said. “Both programs are coming into this dual with undefeated records having dominated every tournament they have entered this season. As a former college wrestler myself, this matchup is one to watch.”

“We’re expecting a great showcase wrestling event on Sunday to be streamed live on FloWrestling,” NWCA Executive Director Mike Moyer said. “We’ve got two of the dominant programs in the country and the last two unbeaten teams in the nation wrestling on the final day of the regular season for the NWCA National Duals Championship. This will be a great one to watch.

“FloWrestling has done a tremendous job promoting this event and we’re hoping the wrestling community shows up in Stillwater and, if they can’t make it there, they watch live on FloWrestling.”

In addition to the Oklahoma State vs. Penn State matchup, FloWrestling will also air Purdue at No. 17 South Dakota State on Friday, Feb. 17, and No. 3 Iowa at No. 23 Edinboro on Saturday, Feb. 18, as part of the NWCA Division I National Duals 2017.
