FloCombat to Live Stream “Valor Fights 32: Fighting For Autism” and BAMMA USA’s Badbeat 20, Badbeat 21, and Badbeat 22
Austin, TX (April 13, 2016) – FloSports today announced the launch of FloCombat.com, a site dedicated to covering mixed martial arts (MMA), including live streams of top competitions, breaking news, original documentaries, technique videos with top fighters, rankings and more.
FloCombat is FloSports’ fourth site dedicated to combat sports – along with FloWrestling, FloGrappling and FloBoxing – and its 12th sports vertical overall, joining FloTrack, MileSplit, FloHoops, FloElite, FloSoftball, FloGymnastics, FloVolleyball and FloCheer.
“We’re thrilled to bring a new level of coverage to the world of mixed martial arts,” FloSports co-founder and CEO Martin Floreani said. “The sport has a growing audience of fans across the globe, and we look forward to providing them access to top live events, behind-the-scenes coverage of their favorite athletes, and much more.”
On April 29, FloCombat will live stream its first event, “Valor Fights 32: Fighting For Autism,” which features former training partners Adam Townsend and Steven New at a 150-pound catchweight in the main event. In a battle of undefeated light heavyweights, Isaac Fine will meet Cody Bruce, while Damir Ferhatbegovic, one of the top young mixed martial artists in the South, faces Rob Covington in a lightweight bout.
“Valor is excited to showcase some of the best talent we have to offer at such an important event,” Valor Fights President Tim Loy said. “This lineup features athletes who have been with our promotion as well as several fresh faces who are looking to make an immediate impact. We’re excited to work with FloCombat to reach a worldwide audience of fans.”
FloCombat also has reached an agreement with BAMMA USA to live stream three of its events in 2016: Badbeat 20 on June 10, Badbeat 21 on Oct. 6, and Badbeat 22 on Nov. 2.
FloCombat is led in part by veteran MMA writer Duane Finley, the senior editor for FloCombat, and well-known MMA journalist Jeremy Botter, who was hired in March as managing editor of FloSports.
To access the live coverage and replays of events, users must sign up to become FloPRO subscribers on FloCombat.com. Monthly and annual FloPRO subscriptions on FloCombat are $20 and $150, respectively. Members get access to all live events and replays, upcoming original documentary series, technique videos and more.
