SANZAAR Programming On FloRugby Includes Coverage Of The Rugby Championship, Bledisloe Cup, Super Rugby Pacific, Bunnings NPC and Currie Cup
AUSTIN, Texas (February 8, 2022) – FloSports, a leader in sports streaming and original content, today announced that the company will exclusively live stream SANZAAR (South Africa, New Zealand, Australia and Argentina Rugby) matches in the United States through its FloRugby platform and award-winning FloSports app. Coverage, which runs through 2025, includes club tournaments such as Super Rugby Pacific, Bunnings NPC and Currie Cup, as well as international competitions including the Rugby Championship and Bledisloe Cup. Additionally, test matches between SANZAAR teams and other international teams will be available on FloRugby, including highly anticipated showdowns with rugby powerhouses England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales.
SANZAAR is a joint-venture enterprise representing the international rugby unions of Argentina, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. It is the preeminent southern hemisphere rugby administration body whose core responsibilities are the management and delivery of The Rugby Championship and Super Rugby Pacific international rugby competitions and coordination of the competitions global Media Rights sales process.

The Super Rugby Pacific is the men’s professional rugby union club competition with 91 matches with teams across Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, and the Pacific Island. Bunnings NPC, the second highest level of professional rugby union in New Zealand, is a tournament that includes 14 different teams. The Currie Cup is South Africa’s premier domestic rugby union competition with 45 matches. The Rugby Championship is an international rugby tournament contested by Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. The two Rugby Championship matches between Australia and New Zealand will also help determine the winner of the Bledisloe Cup, an annual three match series played between the two rival nations. Lastly, International Test matches each year will feature matchups of SANZAAR national teams against other top international teams, which in 2022 will include Argentina vs. Scotland, Australia vs. England, South Africa vs. Wales, and New Zealand vs. Ireland.
The addition of SANZAAR matches significantly bolsters the company’s live rugby programming throughout the calendar year and represents the continuation of notable investment by FloSports to enhance the visibility of the sport in the United States. In October 2021, FloSports announced the acquisition of the exclusive streaming rights of the Autumn Nations Series domestically, with Women’s Six Nations Championships and the Men’s Under-20 Six Nations Championships starting in 2022 through 2024, respectively, along with Team USA Eagles vs. Ireland later this year. FloSports will also exclusively broadcast Rugby Europe programming in North America through 2023 including the highly-anticipated Rugby Europe Championship that runs in February and March 2022.
