Three-Year Deal Gives FloCheer Exclusive Online Streaming Rights of Top Cheer and Dance Competition in the World
Austin, TX (April 18, 2016) – FloSports today announced a three-year agreement with the U.S. All Star Federation (USASF) to provide live streaming coverage of The Cheerleading Worlds™ and The Dance Worlds™ on FloCheer.com.
Elite cheer and dance teams from around the world who have qualified will be competing in the applicable Senior Club or International Club divisions/categories at the event held April 23-25, 2016, in Orlando, Fla.
“This is an incredible opportunity for us to showcase the world’s best cheer and dance athletes to a global audience of fans,” FloSports co-founder and CEO Martin Floreani said. “Our aim is to cover the highest levels of competition across each sport in the FloSports network of sites, and we’re thrilled to work with the USASF on Worlds this year and for years to come.”
Each year, more than 120 USASF and International All Star Federation (IASF) member event producers across the U.S. and in more than 40 countries qualify top teams to compete at The Worlds. The event includes more than 9,000 cheer and 3,500 dance athletes who vie for world champion titles. The first Cheerleading Worlds was held in 2004, and the first Dance Worlds was in 2007.
“The USASF is excited to partner with FloSports to live stream The Cheerleading and Dance World Championship on its FloCheer channel,” USASF president Jim Chadwick said. “The live stream will bring Worlds directly to fans who can’t be there in person and will allow online spectators to see all performances from all four venues in real time. We look forward to working with FloSports to bring great All Star content to viewers.”
To access the live coverage of The Worlds, users must sign up to become FloPRO subscribers on FloCheer.com. Monthly and annual FloPRO subscriptions on FloCheer are $29.99 and $149.99, respectively. The US All Star Federation (USASF) was founded in 2003 with the core principle of making All Star a safer sport by establishing fair and consistent rules and competition standards. The organization credentials coaches, certifies safety judges, sanctions events and maintains and adjusts (as needed) safety guidelines, all with the goal of providing the safest possible environment for cheer and dance athletes to train and compete. We are a not for profit corporation established in Tennessee and are governed by Bylaws, officers, a Board of Directors, and 15 standing committees. The day to day operation of the USASF is handled by full time, part time, and volunteer staff.
